Musci.io rules for AI-assisted music creation, disclosure, voice use, and release readiness
2026/05/15
This AI Music Policy explains how Musci.io handles AI-assisted music creation, user rights declarations, disclosure expectations, voice/persona workflows, and release readiness. It is part of our Terms of Service, Copyright Policy, and DMCA Policy.
This policy is not legal advice and is not a copyright registration certificate. It is a platform policy for responsible use of Musci.io.
Musci.io provides tools that can generate or transform music, lyrics, vocals, stems, covers, and related audio assets with AI. When you use these tools, you are responsible for the material you provide and the way you use the result.
You must not submit prompts, lyrics, recordings, samples, stems, melodies, voices, names, images, or other inputs unless you own them or have the rights and permissions needed for your intended use.
Before owner downloads and future release workflows, Musci.io may require a rights declaration. This declaration asks you to confirm that:
The generated receipt records the policy snapshot, receipt ID, verification code, licensed email, selected track, and declaration status. It is a platform receipt, not a government registration, copyright assignment, or guarantee that a third party will accept the track.
Musci.io may mark certain workflows as allowed for commercial use and distribution. That means the platform policy allows the generated output to be used commercially, subject to these Terms and your rights in the inputs.
Commercial use is not allowed if your inputs violate third-party rights, if you lack required permissions, or if a distribution partner, DSP, law, or manual review decision blocks the release.
Musci.io may require extra review for uploaded audio, covers, stems, vocals, voice/persona workflows, unclear source material, or any track with rights risk.
You must disclose AI-assisted creation where required by:
Musci.io may include AI disclosure status in license receipts, release packets, moderation records, and future distribution workflows.
You may not use Musci.io to clone, imitate, or impersonate a real person without permission. This includes vocals, speaking voice, artist style, persona, image, name, signature sound, or any other recognizable likeness.
Allowed uses include:
Prohibited uses include:
Do not upload or prompt for copyrighted melodies, lyrics, recordings, stems, samples, or covers unless you have the rights needed for your intended use.
If you create a cover, remix, interpolation, adaptation, or derivative work, you are responsible for any required mechanical license, synchronization license, master license, publishing clearance, or other permission.
Musci.io-generated tracks may not be registered with Content ID or similar exclusive rights systems unless you have the rights needed to control those claims. We may mark Content ID as prohibited for workflows where rights could conflict with other users, platform-generated material, uploaded sources, or unresolved third-party inputs.
Submitting false, overbroad, or abusive claims can result in suspension or termination.
You may not use Musci.io to submit duplicate, misleading, bulk, or spam-like releases. This includes:
Musci.io may review, restrict, remove, or block content when we believe there is rights risk, impersonation risk, spam risk, safety risk, or policy abuse. We may request proof of rights, consent, licenses, or source material documentation before allowing download, release, promotion, or distribution workflows.
Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension, account termination, removal of content, refusal of release workflows, or other enforcement action.
