Prompt:

I have to say conviction came to me While I was meditating piously I’ve had a bitter spirit in my soul So I can’t judge or gather stones to throw My finger pointed out some bigotry While three were pointing right straight back at me But Love is more than cozy hugs all day Sometimes you have to chase the wolves away (Chorus) So let your little light shine bright Uncovering the darkness of sin Don’t let Satan blow it out tonight Friends won’t let the devil steal their friends Evil men are looking for a war And Good men seem to let their armor fall Shaking in their boots they rise no more Will righteous men do anything at all? Jesus is the one without the sin He’s the rightful first one to condemn But with sin that Jesus clearly hates Who are we to weakly hesitate I’ll have no interaction with the dark But bring to light the wicked hardened heart The cowardly corruption must be purged A little leaven ruins all the church (Chorus) So let your little light shine bright Uncovering the darkness of sin Don’t let Satan blow it out tonight Friends won’t let the devil steal their friends Evil men are looking for a war And Good men seem to let their armor fall Shaking in their boots they rise no more Will righteous men do anything at all? (Verse) I’ve had this pesky splinter poking me Beyond it I believe that I can see Manipulation, and gaslighting too A deadly beam prohibiting your view I stopped my rant for I was in the wrong I was out of line the whole day long Quickly I repented of my pride Now Humbly I attack The timber in your eye (Chorus) So let your little light shine bright Uncovering the darkness of sin Don’t let Satan blow it out tonight Friends won’t let the devil steal their friends Evil men are looking for a war And Good men seem to let their armor fall Shaking in their boots they rise no more Will righteous men do anything at all? (Tag) Remove the perpetrators from your midst To purify the Church and stand the test No namby pamby weak-kneed leadership The flock need shepherds with a little grit (Chorus) So let your little light shine bright Uncovering the darkness of sin Don’t let Satan blow it out tonight Friends won’t let the devil steal their friends Evil men are looking for a war And Good men seem to let their armor fall Shaking in their boots they rise no more Will righteous men do anything at all?
