SHINE Walk slowly to the front. Look around the church. Pause. Speaker: Church... I want to ask you one question. What happens when darkness enters a room? Pause. You don't fight darkness with your hands. You don't shout at darkness. You don't complain about darkness. You simply turn on the light! Pause. And today, God is asking us: “Where is your light?” Because Jesus did not say... “You may become the light.” He said: “YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD!” So if you are the light... WHY ARE YOU HIDING? Why are you silent when your friends are doing what is wrong? Why are you afraid to stand for Jesus? Why do you look like a Christian in church... but become somebody else when you leave? Pause. Somebody needs your light. Somebody in your school needs your light. Somebody in your family needs your light. Somebody sitting beside you may be fighting a battle you know nothing about. And God may have placed YOU there... not to judge them, not to laugh at them, but to shine! Raise your voice. When they lie— SHINE! When they hate— SHINE! When they pressure you— SHINE!
